Smart Science Talk: English for scientific discourse

The program is designed to train specialists in the field of scientific research communication in a foreign language. 
The aim of the program is to prepare students for effective communication in English in the international scientific environment. 
The program is aimed at developing the participants' skills in reading, analyzing and writing scientific texts, conducting discussions and presentations at a high level, as well as mastering the specifics of scientific style in English.
Course content:
1. Linguistic and stylistic features of scientific style
2. Working with scientific material in English
Category of listeners: persons with secondary vocational education, those with/receiving higher education, and those who speak a foreign language at a level not lower than Intermediate are allowed to master the program.

Labour intensity: 36 / 72 / 144 / 216 academic hours, it is possible to study on an individual programme.
Form of education: full-time, part-time, correspondence (distance) with the use of distance learning technologies and e-learning. Individual training program is possible!

Learning time: from 4 weeks to 16 weeks, depending on labour intensity

Issued document: Certificate of advanced training of the established sample
